Hi all,

Found no previous posts in a search so here goes: I was told, and have always used raw honey, while others here have used pasturized. I was told that pasturizing honey takes out some of the natural bacterial factors that aid fermentation etc...
Comments? Are there pluses/minuses for both? I tend to be a strict, natural brewer, not wanting to add chemicals and additives to the brew. With either one, are more chemicals and additives needed?

Just do a forum search on Heat vs No-Heat, no-heat method, etc and you'll find a butt load of information.

Cheers,
