Hey all,

Had the yearly Blot over the All Hallows Eve and used Oskaars "Sweet Petite Mesquite". :drunken_smilie: Talk about raves! I now have 2 more guys wanting to get into the mead brewers world and they plan on becoming members.
Thanks to Oskaar, Vicki, Rob, Medsen, Angus and others who had the patience to show me how to make something other than battery acid.
Yes, I'm going to make 6 gallons of "SPM" next. :icon_thumleft:

Congratulations. This is a huge step forward for you after a bit over a year it looks like your meadmaking skills have come along nicely. I'm glad the PSM turned out well, and even happier that your friends have been inspired to start making mead themselves. This is what meadmaking is all about in my opinion and while it's nice to get a pat on the back every once in a while, the bigger payoff is how people can take something that I (or anyone else for that matter) can make, and produce it with their own style, character and personality. I remember where you started from and I'm sure your friend do too. If they indeed take the plunge and start making mead, please share with them as I have shared with you. I know you will.

Nicely done,

Oskaar
