Hello all new here, new to making mead. Haven't even tried it yet. I was looking into prices for local honey (NE Ohio) and I happened to search on costco.com.

http://goo.gl/dkzfB (I used a url shortener, Costco has terrible urls)

A 40lb bucket of Anna's Gourmet All-Natural Clover Honey. For 129.99$ SHIPPED!

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this honey. I was all excited, seemed like it got good reviews on Costco.com but then I did some Google research and it looks like it got a bad review on Amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Annas-Gourmet-All-Natural-Clover-Honey/dp/B003WRH6GY

So anyone work with it yet?

Nevermind, It looks like from where I am at Dutch Gold is cheaper, even with shipping.

Thanks, I answered my own question.

Well, not being in the US rules out Dutch Gold or even the other one you linked, but perhaps seeing how much a quality varietal honey might be for you shipped within the US from somewhere like "the Bee Folks" ? Or maybe even some where closer, but using "The Honey Locator" ?
