New here and getting used to the forum. I typically like to view forums as threaded. However switching to that format here seems a bit "Quirky".

I've not seen any posts that have more than one level of depth and my only response seems to not have shown up as "Threaded" but ended up flat.

Do I have a setting wrong or is this possibly a browser issue, I'm on Mozilla.

In fact I pulled up the same thread using IE and it does show them as more threaded but also has the red "X" symbol in front of any threaded level greater than the first level.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks,

~Matt

Back when I first started, I found the threaded mode would cause me to miss things (I would have been using IE or Firefox) so I've been using linear mode ever since...

I use threaded on every other forum I go to because I find it easier to "Follow conversation". Well that works when others are using it as well.

I find "Flat" confusing as you never know who the response was too.
