does anyone have the recipe from the vitners wine making booklet? i was interested in the recipe for the fruit melomel. I seem to have misplace my booklet,,LOL.

i think the booklet is call winemakers recipe handbook. its the little purple book the usually comes with equipment kits.

My kit had no such thing so I can't help you with that, but it's more than likely all you really need to know is in the Newbee Guide here or any "basics" page on anyone's winemaking sites, like Jack Keller...

Which one? there are 2 Melomel recipes in the booklet that came with my first kit: One has OJ, Pineapple Juice and White Grape concentrate -- the other is just Blackcurrants or raspberries.

neither is made in a way that I would make a mead, more like traditional wine-making with honey.
