Was thinking about doing a holiday spiced cyser "JAO Style" so it would be drinkable around xmas. Something along the lines of 2-3 gallons, apple juice, cinnimon, nutmeg, all spice, molassis, raisins and honey.(or other good combo's) Not sure what to do with measurements, i just dont want it overly sweet. Was hoping for FG of around 1.015. I looked at the calculator, but honesly i dont get it :(

Well CG said about measuring a JAO batch it was SG 1125 to 1135 with 1.025 to 1.035 as FG when bread yeast is used.....

How much further drop in gravity could be obtained with aeration and appropriate nutrition, I don't know........

hmm maybe bread yeast isnt the way to go. Opinions on a yeast that ages relatively quickly?
