It's not QUITE like communist rule over here, we're still allowed to look at American websites...

Not to worry ole Harpy loves America, especially the GOP which he is trying to style his government after (as much as he can get away with at least). Just don't try to get too friendly with those left wing communists like the Swedes, Danish and Germans, they might inspire crazy ideas about a compassionate state and progressive thinking based on science rather than ideology.

Perish the thought... (my in-laws are German and Slovenian)

And it's not like down south, our government isn't listening in on us. Mostly because we're just not that interesting. :p

... besides, even if Harpy heard that, what would he do? It's not like they've even moved to get rid of a political party whose reason for existing is to break up the country. Somehow, the Quebec separatist parties aren't treasonous. But that's another topic... anyone else got good comics to share? We all could use a little levity...

The Canada-Quebec relationship has been fraught with conflict since the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759. It would take a lifetime to still not understand it totally.

Hah, I remember seeing the Shadowfacts one but not the snobby connoisseur one (Canadian surrealist porn?)... XKCD is on my rather extensive webcomics list...
