It's broken up into 5 segments but, once you pull up the first one, the other ones appear in the watch list. I watched the one in Dutch but missed a lot as my Dutch isn't good. Will watch the English version tonight with the wife and hook laptop into TV to make an evening of it.

Ha ha! Brilliant. Just sat through all 5 of the programme parts.

Very interesting......

You think you know enough to understand bee's and honey etc, only to watch something like this, to realise that I knew the square root of sod all ;D

It goes some way to understand that his passing was a big, if not unexpected, loss. To both the bee breeding world as well as the mead world.

But with all that in mind, could I make a living from it, and it's logical extension of mead making ? Maybe, but I'm too much of a coward to try, so I'll likely stick to hobby mead making..........

Well, living in a monestary, I suspect his expenses were pretty low....

Awesome doc. I was a little annoyed by the 50s monster music in the first section. It was amazing to know that we lived at the same time as a man that rivaled Mendel. Kind of makes you wonder if anything can be done unless you have no other distractions. Like making a living. Regardless he is an inspiration.

Oh and how about how all those guys just stand around thousands of bees with no protection at all? I guess by now they are so immune to bee stings they are like mosquito bites! The guy that got stung on the lip was amazing. He barely reacted!
