Hi guys

I have a recipe for black currants and saskatoon berries in a melomel. The thing is, all i have access to is dried currants from the grocery store that are treated with sulfites. Is there a way to rehydrate and get rid of the sulfites or are the currants safe to use and just mash em up and put them in the must. It is calling for 2lbs of currants for 3 imperial gallons.

Thanks!
