Idaho,

I noticed there is a cross over tee between the inlet and outlet just below the plastic tubing connection on your chiller. It there a specific reason for this?

Nice job on construction!

well i tested it last night and it brought 5 gals down from a boil to 80 degrees in about 6 minutes.
the crossover tee was added to support the tube coming up from the bottom. it has a solid peice of copper inside so the fluid can't cross through it.
so now i drink home made beer while i wait for my mead to become drinkable (if it ever does) ::)
