Looking at a post below (and the picture) got me thinking (can you smeel the smoke?). Does anyone have a recommendation on a program for my private bottle labels? Something perhaps that fits an easily available Avery label? I have MSWord, and haven't found quite what I need. Thanks!

I too am curious. Anyone have any good Word/OpenOffice templates for labels?

Either of you have paint shop pro? I can send you a template I made myself if you want that's real easy to use. Fits the Avery labels, too. You might be able to download a free trial here: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=Corel3/Trials/Login&pid=1047023911984&cid=1047024437292

All you have to do to use my template is replace two photos of you're choice and alter the text. Shoot me an email if you're interested.

I finally bought a nice graphics app that makes great lables using any Avery standard. Now I just need to feed the printer some of that expensive color ink!

Well, I have used several programs for making the pictures, or just scan a drawing to jpg. Avery has templates for download on their site and I got the one to match my labels. I use the 8164 size which happens to be 3 1/3" x 4" which works nicely on my bottles. Using the template in word, I import the photo and do text over it. Thats how I made the ancient orange label i posted previously. Granted, its not as fancy as Norskersword's labels, but that was my bad artistry and not the program's fault. just a thought.
