I'm in London for a few weeks, and am curious if anyone knows of any pubs or bars or whatever that serve mead. When I've asked, I get a 'no' rather than a funny look, which a step up from most places in the US, which has given me at least some hope.

Also, is there somewhere online with a list of watering holes that sell mead? I found a lot of resources for brewers (not me!), but really not so many for consumers.

Thanks in advance for any leads,
-s

Well, I'm a Londoner, and so far have not found it on tap. Most mead here gets served as if a wine, which in my mind is daft. Will let you know if Ifind any. Best bet is probably the Campaign for Real Ale, www.camra.org

I may have worked out a decent brew by the next time you visit too.....
