Shamrock, I can't believe you actually waited for your first batch to be finished before starting a second! I couldn't stand the waiting, and had to start more batches just so I wouldn't mess with the first (AO). *grins*
Well, I wanted to start a second batch, because making the first one was a lot of fun..and easy too! A lot easier than I thought...however, I have been pretty busy with other stuff, including building a house and moving to it in August and unpacking into September.
Making the mead was good fun, and it was a family affair getting it bottled..we had a small assembly line going...
I'm going to make two more batches this week after I get some honey from the local apiary. One like the first batch, raspberry mead and the other will be a blueberry-maple mead. Should be interesting.
I drank a little too much of the mead last Tuesday evening and ended up bombed. That stuff is more potent than I thought! ;D However, funny thing was the next day, I had no hangover.
