theres a new website that ppl are just giving stuff away on all you do is post what you are looking for and ppl respond to your post you can even set it up to get your responses in your email its www.freecycle.com (i dont know how to make a link) i put up a post for empty wine bottles and got about 5 responses in 24 hrs including one guy who is gonna give me 7 cases of bottles for free (how cool is that) there is one for almost every are in the usa and it may even be global i thought this could be invaluable to some of us. hope you try it out

I scored 3 5 gal class carboys a carboy brush and a bottle capper from a guy getting out of the homebrew hobby on Freecycle. ...oh AND a nice Wine Rack.

I was going to put out the call for some Grolsch type or cappable beer bottles pretty soon in anticipation of priming some of my Cinnful Cyser before bottling and making a batch of hard cider.

Aaugh!

I recently found this freecycle site, and it is a great idea. I was too slow, however, and now someone else is going to use a demijohn to store and save coins! Must stay on top of it more.
