    We found this site that offers online
    beekeeping 101:

    It looks like a lot of the stuff we just
    took in our beekeepers class in NoVA.

    It really helps you to have a mentor
    But maybe some of the more experienced
    beekeepers here would be willing to mentor

    We would try to answer questions, but
    want everyone who asks to know we have had
    an 8 week class and have had bees for
    10 days now and been stung twice

    I'll help out with any questions you have, already am a "mentor" to a friend who wants to get into bees. Still waiting for his equipment to get in. Still don't like getting stung after all these years, it doesn't hurt that much but just don't like getting stung.
