Tomorrow afternoon I'm heading down to King City for the annual Memorial Day Weekend bash our family has every year--100 or so folks gather to eat and drink for the better part of 4 days...hey, what can I say, life is good!
And while my frosh attempt at JAO is clear as a bell it tastes harsh to me so I want to let it age a bit before I offer it to folks. So no mead this year. The youths have been bringing various types of drink to pass around and sample on Saturday night and I was hoping to have the JAO for that, but I'd rather wait until it totally rocks. I don't want to keep someone from liking it on first taste.
But NEXT year? We're having some mead at our party.
Anyone in the vicinity this weekend, especially the glutfest on Sunday night (abalone, steak, chicken, sausage...) you're welcome to come join us.
