Mother Nature needing mood stabilizing meds?
Yesterday, December 22 was a balmy 65 degrees in Southwest Arkansas and was also the first day after the Winter Solstice. I did brief hive inspections and several of my hives already have capped brood, larvae and eggs. Looks like swarm season may come early in 2019! Anyone else seeing brood already?

I live outside of Augusta, GA. Last year I had a hive that never went broodless during the winter. I plan to do an inspection this weekend, if weather holds. I hope the bees aren't building up yet because I want to vap the hives with O/A.
