I can hear the groans already, but here goes. My wife does not drink, so I would like to make a NA mead. My thought on this would be to take say, 1 gallon of a 12% abv, and then heat it to 165 deg F, until the volume of the gallon was reduced by 16 oz. This is the only way I can think of to do it, and no, I haven't Googled it, hoped someone had tried it.

If I had a still, I could do it, but alas, have not built one. But that could be another topic of discussion in the future

Why not make a mock tail with good honey and carbonated water?
