    Default The down side of bottling

    First after syphoning to the bottling buck there's some left in the carboy. Then after bottling theres a bit in the bottom of the bucket and you have one bottle that just isn't full enough to cork. IT'd be a crime to let this mead go to waist, so into my glass in goes.

    Down side is, it's just after 3 in the afternoon and I doubt I'll finish the left overs today.


    P.S. This mead is sweet @ 5 Brix and 21% A.B.V.

    on my last bottling (at about 10pm), the remaining (I fancied a drink so didn't cork the last full one and nailed it) unfinished bottle accompanied me up Parliament Hill to welcome in the summer solstice. Sometimes, being pagan and armed with mead is a sublime moment.
