Okay lets see if I have this right. This is my first post and my first gallon of mead brewed. Below is a list of my ingrediants:
3 lbs of Texas Gold Mesquite Smoked Honey
1 Gallon of Purified Water (87 degrees)
2 tablespoons of Yeast Energizer and Nutrients
1 packet of Lavlin Yeast
Followed the recipe on this website for making a 1 gallon batch of Mead.
Everything is/was going fine, I completed the instructions and placed the airlock in place on 02/07/2013
The question is first;
I am getting 1 yeast bubble every 10-12 seconds, Is this enough?
Second;
How long should I let this sit before I guess racking it and bottling?
Looking forward to many more batches is this works out.
