Arizona moving forward with new wine law

Arizona signed a new law into effect on June 1, 2006 allowing phone, fax and internet purchases from wineries in or out of the state that produce 20,000 or less gallons per year.

Oh well, life isn't perfect, but it's a step toward being able to get more down the road.

I wrote all my reps about this, several times, over the last year or so, and got a kinda-sorta "I'm on your side" email from one of them last year. Today, another of them sent a snailmail letter saying he agrees with me and that SB1276 should be opposed or rewritten. Seeing as how this was signed into law on June 1st, and I got this stupid "We're with ya, matey!" note today, on the 10th, it starts to become clear why this bill got passed.

You know, the one good thing about is...cuh...politicians...er...hmmm...

Nope, sorry -- thought I had something there.
