Has anyone tried the hard lemonade kits you can buy at the brew stores????

like or dislike???

I make my own, haven't tried one of those kits. Miriam put up a pretty great recipe some time back.

See here

Cheers,

Oskaar

im thinking of doing a experimental 1 gal batch close to miraims recipe.

6 cans of concentrate lemon juice
sugar
2 tbs fleichsmans yeast

the reason i wanted to try fleichsmans (sp?) is if it is a sucsess it will be easy for the none homebrewer to get and give them one more reason to try it kind of like jao.Im just waiting for an empty 1gal carboy now.

Could I substitute the sugar with honey? Anyone have an idea how much for 5 gallons? Also could I incorporate some cranberries to make this like "Mike's hard cranberry lemonade" or use a few cranberry type tea bags?

Thanks a bunch!
