I have been reading different posts in brewlogs and one of the things I noticed people using, is bottled fruit juice from the supermarket.
What about preservatives in this stuff? Is there a special type that i should look for? Basically just look for 100% Juice?
I noticed a Cherry Melanoma that AToE was working on that sounded like it could be very good. ( I do like Cherry )
What about using D47? From what I have read so far it sounds like that is a good yeast to let the mead sit on. So I was wondering if I started a one Gallon batch of this and left it on the leese for a couple of months until it was clear. (Like JAO on bread yeast) then rack off to clear some more and age if that would work.
Gotta go shopping
