Ah. My first horn came in the mail today. I sealed it with beeswax and poured T'ej BOMM in it. So nice!

Mine has this aluminum flange in it. I thought it was cool when I bought it, but now the aquarium sealant they used to seal it to the horn is cracked and it leaks every time I try to drink from it.

So.

I'm planning to remove the flange, and carefully smooth out the rim of the horn to be pleasant to drink from. Then I'll have to remove the rivet holding the bottom end of the leather thong on it. And fill and sand the hole. Then maybe I can do some cool scrimshaw style etching on it. Give it the beeswax treatment, and start drinking from it again!

I have been using DAS HORN! 24 ounce capacity, neck strap so I can't lose it after the first round and halfway into the second and made of tree-hugging white plastic (substantial thickness) that has a great insulating quality. The only downside is all the apologizing the next day.
