4 lb Fresh raspberries
4 oz. Granulated sugar
1 liter Monopolowa potato vodka

Put fruit in a 1 gallon jug, mixed sugar and vodka poured over fruit and capped.

Have you also tried adding licorice (about an inch long segment) to a quarter litre, breaking it up into small bits and letting it soak for a month, then rack/strain/filter.

Adds quite a nice complexity if the raspberry is a bit thin, IMHO.

Hey James,

Haven't tried licorice root in anything, but will keep it in mind, thanks for the tip.

Thinking about increasing the sugar/vodka in this, the cherry and vanilla cordials we just started, that way we can put up 750ml of each and have about a couple liters to play with blending.

Cherry/Vanilla, Raspberry/Vanilla

My question;

What do You do with the fruit once the cordail is done?

We where talking today and thought Frozen Daiquiri's or some other ice blended fruity drink, maybe even Fruit Martini's.
