As in all journeys, the first step may appear to be the most important but it is not. Picking up that pen, making that call, or finally walking into that store you have been passing for years does not define the journey it merely starts it. For years I have been driving by this little brewers' store in my home town earmarking the location with the same thought. "One of these days..." I would say to myself and in the myriad of things that always get in the way, I would keep driving. It was not until I was literally walking out of a great restaurant next door that I finally walked in. The small bell chimed and the man behind the counter looked up from his book and greeted me. The first step. A year later and here I am, still taking the next.
