Hi,
Hope someone can advise here -
I've just bottled some red and white wine, it had had the stabiliser sulphite and sorbate in for a week (it was a kit, followed instructions etc), but for some mad reason just before after bottling, I added about 1/4 of a teaspoon of stabiliser to each bottle, then corked them.
I think sulphites produce gas, have I just created 12 bottle bombs ?
Ironically, I added a bit of stabiliser after adding the kit stabiliser last week in the demijohn to avoid bottle bombs, as this I say first bottling its glass bottles and corks.
Thanks for any advice
Cheers
Andy
