I found several of the B. Nektar meads while traveling out of state this past weekend, and am making my way through them - such a burden :)

Tonight was The Sleeping Giant - Straight mead aged on rye whiskey at 15.1% ABV, I believe. (eyes are getting old)

Absolutely one of the finest sipping experiences that I've had to date, and I wish that I'd purchased more than one bottle. 1.013 is what my hydro shows.

If you can find it - buy it.

Unfortunately they aren't approved for sale here yet. Next time I go out of state I'll have to look for some.
 
I haven't found them in Indiana either, but Illinois had them. All that I've tried (7 plus Zombie Killer) are solid/enjoyable, but the Sleeping Giant was phenomenal.
 
I know this is a 2 year old thread, but if you haven't tried it already? B nektar's Epjsode 13 is amazing, up the alley of sleeping giant as well. Worth checkig out.
