Hey there,
Quick question:
Does anyone know what hop variety is common to flower gardens in the Ontario region of the world? I only ask as my wife and mother both have hops vines in their gardens and I want to know if it's possible to dry them and use them in a homebrew. Unfortunately I wasn't bright enough to get a picture of them before deciding to ask this question and I've been unable to find anything specific via Google as of yet.
I'll try to get a picture tomorrow to see if that helps at all. I'm guessing that it isn't one of the common brewing types but would it ever be crazy to find out that I've had Cascade or Fuggles growing in my backyard for the last three years and not known about it.
