fantastic 3 week mead?
I know that the recipe says to make it just as written, but can I make 5 gals instead of 1? It would be easier to use 1 big carboy instead of 5 gallon jars.
If i did how much yeast would it take? x 5= 25 g?
I loved the first batch I made just want more to share.
Thanks for your help.

If you are speaking of Joe's CW - 3wk mead, yes you can make it in bigger batches. I made a 3gal batch a couple of months ago and tripled everything except the yeast. I used 1 package and still ended up with a little blow-out from my 3gal Better Bottle. It tastes pretty good, but continues to get better with age.

Thank you.
will attempt a 4 gal. batch tomorrow. I don't mind waiting a little longer, but i am short on space!
