I don't know if this is the correct forum or not, so if it is not please move it!
What I'm looking for is an old mead recipe written in Middle English. I do not need a modern English translation, just a period Middle English recipe. I'm taking a Medieval Imagination class and I had gotten into talking with the professor about mead. One thing she was thinking about doing is taking a Middle English recipe and having the class work through translating it. So if anyone has one or knows where I can find one I would greatly appreciate it!
EDIT: Also, just to clarify, I mean this language:
"For wonder of his hwe men hade
set in his semblaunt sene
he ferde as freke were fade
and oueral enker grene."
