I bought a few bottles of Mjød in Norway recently. All the bottle says is "Mjød", with a viking dragon horse above it.

It was extremely good, and I wish to buy more.

Where might I obtain some? I dont know the maker, or anything. But the bottle has absolutely no makers name, website, or anything of the sort on it. I wish to buy more of it, but I cant seem to be able to.

Can anyone help?

I have a picture of it. Email me to see if its the same thing you may know of. Help me buy more! I live on the west coast, USA.

Just sent them an E-Mail and it looks like they don't have an Importer/Distributor in the US at this time.

But they are looking for one. ;D

Hmmm...

Here are the pics of the mystery mead. Can anyone help? I finally managed to find a place to upload them.

If you know anything, tell!!! It was excellent, and I would like to buy more if I can!

Wine VS. Mead?
Vineyards are environmentally destrutive.
Bee hives are environmentally constructive.

I LOVE that bottle! :) There's something very attractive about having 1 word and a viking dragon head. Nothing else. I like "Mjød" also. So mush so that I had already unofficially named my meadery "Old Hellerberg Mjødkraft".

Mjød is just the Norwegian word for Mead. I wonder if it is really the company name. ???

I would think that it's not the company name. It was bought in Norway, so I'd saythat it's like buying beer here and seeing "BEER" on it. :)

Still I love the Norwegian word for mead. :)
