I put this down today should be ready for my 4th of July festivities.

12.5lbs Light Malt Syrup
.25lb Aromatic Malt
.75lb Crystal 55L
.10lb Peated Malt
.15 Roasted Barley
2oz Fuggle 4.5% (60min)
1tsp Irish Moss (20min)
WLP028 Edinburgh Ale (in a 2qt starter)

OG 1.090 should finish around 1.025

This is very drinkable after aging about 4 weeks and comes into its own in about 6 months. Mine never seems to last that long, no mater were I hide it I find it before it gets to age that long.;D

Never had any of Rogue's. There's is an American Strong Ale, Mine is a Wee Heavy Scottish Ale. But I'm sure your head would feel the same way in the morning, after a few to many pints the night before.

Are you looking to replicate Orkney's Skull Splitter? Their's is a Wee Heavy that will most definitely (from personal experience) give you a "split" the next morning!!

I always enjoy a good Skullsplitter! I typically bottle-condition my scotch ales for at least six months, but it's certainly not easy.
