Oh, yeah I forgot, meet another gotmead.com user, since I got to meet Sandman at Schramm's last year... :)

Come to Miami Beach. When you're tired of sun and surf I'll host a lunch at my house. Lots of pulled pork sandwiches and mead.

Right. Get passports and meet TheAlchemist, who wants us to go to Schramm's with her sometime in the summer :)

(I've met two Gotmeaders so far)

BNektar is like 3 miles up the road, so if you had the time doing sampling at both is good. We also have two breweries about 6 minutes east them Kuhnhens and Dragonmead which also make mead...

Excellent. I'm hoping to pick up a few bottles from both to consume at the con, and a few extra to max out my duty-free limit before I head back home. I'm also going to try to hit Munro's on the Canadian side on my way back.

Today I learned: I'm utterly spoiled by living close to the Niagara wine region - I'm used to assuming that I can just show up at a winery any time during the day and get a tasting and buy a few bottles. BNektar is closed all the times I'd have open, and Schramm's doesn't open until 4 that day. I may have to content myself with driving around Livonia to pick up mead from a liquor store rather than visiting in person.
